Former Governor of Lagos state now Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, has denied promising Nigerians a stable power supply in six months if given a chance to serve.
The Minister of Power cleared his name on the rumour while speaking during a programme on the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, on Tuesday.
Fashola maintained that he never made such promises. He further challenged anyone with a video footage of him making such promises to come forward. While dissociating himself from the statement, he branded it falsehood.
He said: “I have heard that I said that electricity problem will be solved in six months. I have never made the statement. Anybody who has a video of where I said this should please make it public. The point I made was when I was handing over the Lekki IPP because we had about 10 megawatts of power there.”

Useless government from head to tools. First fail to form cabenet on time, cost Nigerians billions on naira (. 2) heading oil minister that he knew nothing about, cost Nigerians trillions of naira. (3) make empty promises during election in the name of change, my people voted for you, without question the kind of change. Bad to good? Or bad to worse. Nigerian should not allowe this government to stay more year in power. USELESS GOVERNANCE.

We need to realize our politicians do not have her citizens at heart therefore let them continue their lie games, God will surely see us the poor masses through in life. It has been long hearing all these empty promises without any tangible result to show, is aitime the youth of this country begin to shun voting and allow them governing themselves and family.
