I cant really place the motive of some comments.Everything is politicized myopically that fools are even contented in their state of intelligence.
When it comes to administration of sport the govt. can be seen as interference but when its time to pay their wages or compensation, the same inactve govt. is held responsible. If the minister says the NFF was not expecting a victory so no provision for allowances,it has nothing to do with sport ministry which has other loyal sport event to deal with.
The NFF can not say their autonomo in status can not give out money to its athletes. Was the competition free?Is it not a FIFA rated competition? So all the money for qualifcation, appearance, winning the groupstage, winning the tournament can not made to us before judgement?Or better still, was the championship not sponsored by any corporate entity.
NFF should stop this idea of putting the govt. in bad light.Gone are the days when santa claus is invited even to an easter party.THE GOVT.CAN REWARD A NATIONALISTIC ACHIEVEMENT BUT ALLOWANCES IS NOT THEIR BID IN FOOTBALL MANAGEMENT THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE  AUTONOMO.

wow! wow! wow!!!!!! The treatment of this ladies is just a national shame on our country, lets even forget about the fact that they are footballers, played for the country or not - they deserve to be treated with respect, and beside they went out of their way to make this honor for the country and treated this way? sure if they are runs girls and spreading themselves on instagram am sure they will be giving them alot more money than they are crying for now.

they aren't happy at all. Nigerian government these days talk and talk with little or no action. why postpone their pay after they have completed their job. those asking them to wait for their entitlements that it will be paid but they earn theirs monthly.
