@FinlandGuy,Your opinion is ok with no doubt,but may I advice you for one thing pls stop insulting the other fellow who also said his mind,calling some one a fool and other unacceptable names is not proper and will lead us to no where.We may make a change in our ppl life starting from here as well.Thank you!

Muammar Gaddafi is such a confused individual, I don't know what gives him the right to make such an opinion. Besides no matter how much Nigeria engage in communal clashes whether religious or political I believe Nigeria is better of than when divided. The problem is not the combination of ethnicities but the mindset of those combined not feeling like one and the cure is orientation from our political leaders on the benefits of togetherness and our religious leaders coming together whether Christian or Muslim or dose'nt "Ala mean God", If we are able to fix the issue of togetherness which is fixable, then we can all eat from the same plate!.

SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME, WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT THESE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, THAT WILL BE CAUGHT ON THE OPPOSITE SIDES.............MY PEOPLE, WE SHOULD NOT LET OUR EMOTIONS TO RULE OUR BRAINS/HEAD.........GOD HAS USED THE BRITISH TO CREATE A NATION..CALLED NIGERIA.LETS TRY TO PRESERVE IT..THE COUNTRY NEEDS PRAYERS. NOT ALL MOSLEMS OR NORTHERNERS ARE KILLERS OR BAD.......THE SAME GOES FOR THE SOUTH, , EAST, WEST.........PEACE & ONE LOVE......SEE YA !!!!

I think spliting is not the solution 2 nigeria problem. Ignorance and poverty is our problem... bible quote "my people perish for lack of knowledge" we forgot that the God we even worship himself is love and he says we should love our neighbour as ourselves. Love is all we need..... Religion conflict is against Gods commandment.

This remains  the most efficient and possible solution.Gaddafi is very much right before it results to another civil(religious)war He spoke from his heart not from influence  like most of our African leaders who still dont have their own opinion but still speak from influence of foreign nations. Lets be honest Nigeria is not supposed to be a country if peace and unity was considered by British authority.There are extremely big population of Christians of the south and Muslims  on the north who dont have any thing in common with each other, be it socially,culturally or politically.We must acknowledge the fact that it was only  the  interest of the british goverment that these different people were forced together as a nation

the blame is all about the Federal Gov,t of Nigeria and nothing more, because dialogue is the only way out rather than splitting and proper investigation with immediate action for any group or part of the two religious parties found guilty upon all these

I totally surpport what Gaddafi is saying. I have mentioned same thing long ago. Nigeria is a nation inside nations.if u walk 20miles apart u find a diffrent tribe.look at the history of how Nigeria was almagamated in 1914. Forumites ask urself this simple question. can britain and france live as one Nation? if ur answer is yes then we can forget splitting up. before the discovery of oil,agriculture was wat was keeping us going.if we decide to split up we can import food from the north and south can export oil to them.more money on both sides.we reason this. not only faulty he is , but also very reckless indeed, i aqtually knows muamar gadafi as much as you knows him or even more , and that mess he cause that nearly earns him adirty slaps from king abdullah of saudi arabia some few years back due to his recknessness in talking still exist upto the prsent day ,so no body regards him as sensible person not only in the western countries but even also in the arab world too

i realy dont like people that r commenting here sometimes,they just want to say opposit from the other not knowing that alot of people from all works of life is reading,it is confusing........for the reality of everything the country should divide,that will help alot,2 countries,2 presidents,every employment opportubity is devided into 2 places..thatwill help the country alot,bcose even the northern and southern people of nigeria r not thesame race,its ovius by looking at hausa man and delta man,the respect and love will never be there........we need a change and that change is division.

concerning gadafi , i knows him so much and he is never a new man to me , he is alway in the new too ,and for the past 15 years now he as lost much admirations from many peoples who admires him , that is just the fact, and the fact that he says what you peoples like does not simply means he is talking sense any way , in africa there about eight countries who were much biggerthan nigeria in size and not in populations . like sudan more than twice size of nigeria , sudan is ove two millons square meters while nigeria is lessthan even one milloin square meter, so let him divides is own country into two or three first before he passes that his stupid sugestion to us here
