5 reasons why Igbo men are better men in marriages
There have been lots of speculations about what tribe treats women better in marriages, Igbo men would always be considered when issues like this come up. It should be known that Igbo men do not rush into marriage as they love to establish themselves first.

They are men who understand how serious marriage is as they would save up for that major phase of their lives. They are hardworking men who understand what it means to have a wife; they understand the term family and do all they could to make sure their immediate family members never lack.

Igbo men are known to be astute business men in Nigeria as they would always explore their potentials when it comes to trade. They are found in almost all the states in the country and would always place a landmark whenever they go. We were able to speak to a few women in the society concerning this issue, you would find their reasons in this article.

It should be noted that this is not a call to war, it is simply a way of bringing our attention to the goodness of these men in the society. It would also be great if men from other tribes could learn one or two things from them and treat women better.

1. They are hardworking and responsible


Many women in the society would consider marrying Igbo men because they are responsible men who work hard in order to live well in the society.

No matter how demeaning a business is, Igbo men would make the public see the viability of such a business. Women want men who can support their dreams, they want men who are capable of keeping a family together.

Men like these are considered to have a prospect as women know they would never lack if they are with them.

2. They are financially buoyant

An average Igbo man is expecting some goods in a container to be delivered to him, they are men who understand the tides of business.


As a result of this, they are hardly broke. They extend their generosity to the women they want to marry as they take it upon themselves to see to their financial needs.

Nigerian women love the idea of being with men who know their responsibilities towards them. It would be easier for them to function in the society knowing fully well that they have husbands who would support them financially.

3. They are not selfish

Igbo men are thoughtful. They have high regards for the women they are married to and would do all to satisfy them. A typical Igbo man's wealth is measured through the wife.

They are men who prefer their wives to have the best wrapper in the society even though they do not wear something as expensive as that.

They allow their wives to drive the best car in their compounds because they want the society to treat them with respect. This is intriguing as they spend a fortune paying the bride price of their women.

4. They make good family men


Igbo men are protective of their family members; they do not joke with the affairs of their wives and children. They are fierce when it comes to them and would fight anyone who messes with them.

Women love men who know what they want and stick to it. They appreciate men who look out for them and make their welfare a priority. Even in cases where the men have girlfriends, they do not allow their side chicks to ridicule their wives.

Igbo men travel far and wide; there is hardly any country in the world where they are not represented. They imbibe the western culture and become refined over time.

But Tonto use to post images of both of them on a yatch and am pretty sure thats an holiday - the relationship is barely 2 years, I dont know how many holidays you can have within such short period, plus she was preggo within that period - and she posted honey moon photos too, lets not be too gullible here.

one thing for sure is that people who talk alot, lie alot - there is no way Tonto is saying the truth, while I sympathize with her position, the truly way to empower other women and start afresh is by admitting to her own part in the mistakes, that way she can acquict herself from the past and start a new beginning, but what she is doing here is playing the feminism card and a pure emotional blackmail and torture to churchill (Whom is no better as well), they are both just a wreck and until both of them start owing up to their responsibility and admitting there part of the problem, none of them can geniunely move on to better things, its the usual "Nigerian" thing to blackmail the next person (or even things) in order to appear perfect and lovable, this is very very very hypocritical, but i guess the religiosly bigoted society does not care.

Take Whitney Houston for instance, even though she was messed up by Bobby Brown and did very little wrong, she admitted to her own part in the own debicle and moved on, she didnt start blackmailing Bobby Brown up and down like Tonto is doing here, crying and seeking pity, thats what I call a strong black woman, Whitney restarted her career and owned up to her own mistake, Tonto has only being with this guy for 2 years yet shes claiming she saw him make all his money as if to say they have been together for 20 years, anyone with a spec of common sense can read the pattern of blackmail in her story, taking and storing photos and keeping "evidences", He never took you on vacation, yet you have numerous photos of shopping spree and vacations of yatch with him, all within the 2 years (or less) of relationship, well, maybe Tonto wanted alot more vacation than the man could afford and went gaga when she didnt get, clearly alot of bits are missing from her story. all she has is 'evidence' and fake tears for blackmail, and for all young ladies out there, this is no longer a generation of claiming entitilement where you didnt sow in, be responsible young women, that way, no one can ever disrespect you, bring something to the table other than Bosom  and ass, brain and understanding are qualities no man can resist, the ass and pretty face are bonueses too, everyman would love some of those, but behaviour, humility and understanding is most important.
