A landlord simply called Ganiyu a.k.a. Caucus residing at 23, Solumade Palace Street, Ikorodu has been stabbed to death by his tenant, named Ayo.

P.M.NEWS learnt that the incident occurred on Wednesday evening when the wives of both the tenant and landlord engaged themselves in a fight.

Investigation revealed that when the landlord returned from work, his wife reported the incident to him and when he (landlord) challenged the tenant over the incident, a fight ensued between them.

During the quarrel, the tenant was said to have stabbed the landlord with a broken bottle.

Ganiyu died later at a private hospital.

The tenant has been arrested by policemen from Igbogbo Police Station, Ikorodu.

The suspect is being interrogated there.
