On Thursday, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige, asked the Southeast to stop complaining of marginalisation by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration. The former Governor of Anambra state, lamented that all his efforts to persuade the Igbo to wisely invest in Buhari’s presidential bid in 2015 failed because of lack of cooperation by many South-east leaders, who threw their weight behind former President, Goodluck Jonathan. In a swift reaction to the comments made by Ngige during the interview, former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode, took to his Twitter page and lambsted the former Governor of Anambra state. Fani-Kayode in his reply, called Chris Ngige, an unrepentant slave, adding that he has sold his soul to the devil and that he is eating crumbs from his master's table.
