Here’s a chilling story sent in by a blog reader!

According to him, a friend of his attended a church for the first time and was walked out of the church because he was not opening his bible when the pastor said so.

Story below;

Quote
‘Good day. I got a weird and true story about one of my friends, you might be interested in. My friend attended a church in Ibadan as a first timer, somewhere in Ibadan today.

The name of the church is ‘Saints community’ at Amigos, guest house opposite libra kitchen, Agbowo, Ibadan (Agbowo is very close to the university of Ibadan). He was told to leave the church cause he wasn’t opening his Bible by the Pastor who was preaching.

He literally walked up to him to tell him that’s its either he opens his bible or walks out. I was really astonished and shocked by this story, so I requested permission from him to send it to you. Things like This shouldn’t happen. I will blur out his name from the whatsapp chat for the sake of anonymity’

Any geniue gathering under the name of Christianity have rules.
Eg. Switch off your phones, no idle talks, dress properly, etc.
These set of rules varies according to organization.
And they are there for various reasons.

There is a church you have to take off your shoes before you enter.
There are churches females are sent back if they wear trouser.
So when you are politely informed, and you choose to act other wise, where is the gain in it?

We should learn to confort ourselves in respectable manner as dim fit by any organization, especially when we voluntarily attend our self.

You have disrespected God already. Why did you go to church in the first place when you know that you dont want to open your bible?

ARROGANT AND PRIDE LEAD TO DESTRUCTION.

THE PASTOR DID THE RIGHT THING TO TEACH YOU OBEDIENT AND SUBMISSION IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

so what happen to the saying that "Church is the House of the Lord" . those days people seak refuge in the church cause church are meant to be open 24/7 for everyone which is the practical preaching of "come all ye people the lord loves you" . sending someone out of the house of God is unacceptable .

i have heard a story of a man who a pastor tried to send out the church and the man bluntly refused and chanlleged the pastor and the ushers saying "You can't deny me of my blessing today . I have come to this church to be blessed and there's nothing anyone can do about it not even you pastor" and immediately the pastor came to his right sense and used the man as a topic for his sermone saying "you should never allow anybody deny or deprive you of your blessings which rightly belongs to you"  As he apologize to the congrigation .

if there ain't no tolorance in the house of God then what are you preaching?? Bull-Sh*t !!

I sorry for my People shaa.

So who has gained here? God or the devil? Obviously the guy is not a born again Christian. But did Jesus come to this earth to minister to the righteous? No! He came to save the sinners and unrighteous. The pastor handled this wrongly. He should have been more tactful and hopefully that guy could have been drawn closer to God but instead he chased him out of God's presence making the devil happy and God sad. Of course rules are good, but which one is more important in a church? Following rules or saving a soul? Remember the devil also uses rules to thwart the work of God e.g. when Jesus healed on the sabbath, the Pharisees tried to use that against him because it was against the Jewish rule.
