Liverpool will be hoping to gain maximum points from their Champions League double header against Maribor.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds have picked up two points from their opening two Group E games, but travel to Slovenia on Tuesday knowing a win could stand them in good stead.

Group rivals Spartak Moscow and Sevilla will battle each other over the next two gameweeks, meaning six points from their next two games are vital for Liverpool's hopes of progressing from a tricky group.

Maribor host Liverpool at Stadion Ljudski vrt on Tuesday, October 17, with kick-off scheduled for 07.45 PM.

Team news

Sadio Mane is out for six weeks with a hamstring problem, joining Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne on the sidelines.

Klopp will likely mix up his side after the weekend's match against Manchester United, with the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Dominic Solanke pushing for starts in Mane's absence.
