Tottenham face an anxious wait over Harry Kane's injury as they prepare to face Champions League holders Real Madrid at Wembley.
Spurs have lost both games in the striker's absence, to West Ham and Manchester United, and welcome the history-making European giants knowing Mauricio Pochettino has never lost three in a row at the club.
Kane will be assessed in the days leading up to the game but is considered a doubt to start the game, though Pochettino is boosted by the return from suspension of Dele Alli.
A win for either team will see them confirm their place in the Champions League knockout rounds, while a draw and another between Borussia Dortmund and APOEL will leave Spurs needing just a point from their final two Group H games.

Start time
Tottenham host Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm on Wednesday, November 1.

Team news
Harry Kane's fitness is the big, and only, issue facing Spurs in the build-up as the striker struggles with a hamstring injury.
When asked about Kane's availability for Wednesday after the loss to Manchester United, Mauricio Pochettino repeated the ominous "we'll see" line which was issued in the build-up to the Old Trafford trip.
Elsewhere, Dele Alli is back after a three-match suspension. Victor Wanyama is the only first-team regular missing as he continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury. Erik Lamela could be included in a first matchday squad for over a year.
Zinedine Zidane opted against resting his star players for the weekend trip to Girona, with the same team who played Spurs lining up in Catalonia bar Keylor Navas, and still suffered a shock 2-1 loss.
That decision could prove costly after Raphael Varane was forced off at half-time with a reportedly muscular issue.
Gareth Bale is expected to miss the return trip to his former side despite returning to training, while Navas should start despite a niggling groin problem.

Predicted line-ups
Tottenham starting XI: Lloris; Vertonghen, Sanchez, Alderweireld; Trippier, Dembele, Dier, Rose; Eriksen, Llorente, Dele
Real Madrid starting XI: Navas; Nacho, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Isco; Benzema, Ronaldo

Head to head
Tottenham have never beaten Real Madrid in five competitive games, though earned a very credible 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu two weeks ago which saw them score their first-ever goal against the Champions League holders (albeit in the form of a Raphael Varane own goal).
Of three loses, the only one by more than a one-goal deficit came in the Champions League six over six years ago when they went down 4-0.
