Nigerian Human Right Activist, Solomon Ogbogboyibo Urges Men To Beat Their Wives Into Submission

A Nigerian self-proclaimed human rights activist, Solomon Ogbogboyibo, has called on Nigerian men to keep their wives in oppressive conditions and beat them so the women will learn to submit to them.

Solomon Ogbogboyibo took to Facebook to advise men to ensure they subdue their wives because if women are given freedom they will abuse it.
He wrote;
“Wives should be beaten to submission if necessary. Overindulgence of the womenfolk leads to wives slapping or stabbing husbands. #Abomination,”
When the human rights activist was called out by Nigerians for making such a derogatory comment.
He said;
“Women need to be kept in oppressive conditions because when you give them freedom they consistently abuse it. #Give them freedom and throw away their submission,”

Hmm I want to believe this guy has a mental problem and as such he should seek medical attention; Because in all ramifications it is not right to beat a woman least of all your wife.
Constitutionally its wrong, traditionally is wrong, religiously it is also wrong. So where did he get his information from?
