Some commenters here doesn't even know what gift card is. Hence, their ignorant comments. Sad.
A gift card is a cash pre-loaded  independent spending card which can be  used to buy anything, from any store here in the US of A. Some gift cards can be cashed out too. It's just like an ATM, the difference is that a specific amount is loaded therein, which cannot be exceeded.
If you check well, the girl even thanks him for the gift card.

@ficull: you are partially correct and partially wrong. U are right about what a gift card is, but as for the amount that could be available for spending, in this case, the card says $10, which is spendable at "Chick-fill-A" restaurant only.
However, ladies are often quick to judge men's financial weight by any means possible. This man could have used a little gift card to test how grateful she could be. Afterall, it looks as if they only had a one night stand, which in most cases, Nigerian women demand or ask to be paid before their backs could lay flat (u all know what I mean). Also, it looks as if she put it on him (p--sy whooped him) for him to make the confession. So lady, hold your horses till he shows up for more yummy you. That time u could call the shot, or u can write him back to ask for a favor in return for his confession.

Calling a guy nigga or fool, or both isn't really degrading here. Depends on the context it's used. Black girls call their female bestfriends bitches..
