Inasmuch as I condemn this act, alot didn't add up. The police came to serve some papers for money owed, but ended up vandalizing and searching the property? Did they have search warrants? Were there any probable cause to begin with? What was the probable cause, and charges, BEFORE the illegal search?

You're a dumb ass of highest order. This incident happened in UK...i live in Canada bro, there's no way police can decided to search your house without a warrant because they know better, it's about law. The police must have got a tip from an anonymous, and there by using the opportunity of serving the accused some papers just to gain access to his apartment, and also they are fully aware that the guy is not home when they came. Police in foreign country are well trained and follow the due process of the law. They are not like corrupt officers from your dear country.
