I don't like a guy younger that me asking me out let alone getting married to him. so think?

For a lady to marry a man younger than her will need enormous amount of exposure and development. It won't be a bad idea if the two persons concerned are well adjusted mentally.

There are couples like that and they have their ways of maintaining balance and keeping harmony. It's not for everyone tho. Some like it, some don't. Some can maintain such a relationship and others can't. The question to the older lady is, can she submit to him and his love for her knowing she is older than him?

Onchedu you lick the nail on the head. A lot of older women believe that because they are older will find it difficult to submit to a younger man. But if she indeed love this guy and know that this has nothing to do with usage then she can go ahead. On the other hand the young man should not take this submit has one to abuse. Which a lot of young men take for granted. The lady showing him the respect and the submitting then he who is not matured enough turned it into abuse.
If I should talked with a man who is younger than me he has to be God fearing. One who applied the word of God in his life and not only be a listener of it. You see then the both of us will live by the word of God and so the Fruits of the Spirit will be present in our lives and marriage.

If there is Understandin,luv,n d other stuffs needed 2 av a successful relationship,y not go ahead,instead of allowin a lil issue like age 2 deprive u of a blissful relationship... Still wonderin where its written dat d man/guy shud be d eldest in a relationship... Anywayz,its different strokes 4 different folks...

Marrying a guy who is younger 2 u is bad,bt it depends on d type of love they av 2wards each other. In other hand people say respect is reciprocal. The Woman may be annoyed if d guy is rude 2 her because of age barrier which can later lead 2 separation.

Akaymony does that mean that every marriage between older woman and younger man must surely failed, I don't really see it that way, my main concern is the guy because once the guy had that mentality "I am the man, I say what goes" no matter the kind of love that exist between them. that inequality will always be, another thing is that people think that when a lady can only agree to marry a guy younger her it means that the lady is frustrated and desperate for marriage and all this things makes the guys to look down on women. men are very selfish even when they are not man enough they still look down on women simply because their penis made them a man.

One of my former classmates got married in 2003 to a lady that was about 17yrs older than him, and till today, they're still together when a lot of us hoped the marriage would fail. They live happily with a daughter today. I think it all depends on the couple's understanding of each other. I've dated women older than me before, and I've never felt any lesser than them. The problem is that most guys go into such relationships with the aim of taking advantage of the lady. If there's actually love between the couple, to hell with what people will say.

It is not always easy, but there is nothing wrong with that. It is too bad that in Nigeria today, 65% of married people get married just for procreation. African mentality will not allow woman to marry a younger guy, but when they go abroad, the marry kids all for money.
