Riot As NSCDC Officers Shot Man and His Younger Sister Dead In Ondo State (Photos)

Theres currently a tension in Akure, Ondo state as angry youths staged protested after officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps killed 2 siblings. The popular Oba Adesida road was blocked by the protesters for several hours while moving corpses of the deceased about in a pick up van.
The two deceased persons were said to be brother and sister of the same parents.
d one of the siblings, a commercial motorcycle rider, was hit on his motorcycle by an NSCDC officer with his car on Tuesday.

The man reportedly died in the hospital, igniting a protest by his friends, colleagues and family members.

During the protest, a sister of the deceased was said to have seen a team of the NSCDC operatives and verbally assaulted them.
The operatives fired a shot which hit the woman, killing her on the spot.

Oladapo Samuel, the Public Relations Officer of NSCDC the state, denied that operatives of the command killed anybody.

Oladapo said an officer of the Corps from Abuja was in Akure for an examination and was involved in an accident with some people on a commercial motorcycle on Tuesday.

Femi Joseph, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, confirmed the death of two persons.
