A few days ago, It was reported that a lady was robbed and assaulted by a driver under the Taxify platform, who drove her to a place at Victoria Island and robbed her of her possessions with her face covered in blood.(Read Story Here)
However, a good Samaritan identified as Mr. Adebola Isaac took to his Instagram page to share a video as she was led to a clinic close to where the incident happened, with a deep cut closed to her eyes, that she was assaulted by a Taxify driver as claimed by the lady.
Meanwhile, there was a misinterpretation as the said lady had tendered an apology to Taxify that truly she was assaulted by a taxi driver but not by a Taxify driver, but probably said Taxify out of shock.
An official press statement was released from Taxify Nigeria in respect to the story after investigations were carried out and information was gathered, and it was discovered that no record of any trip made by the said lady. after having a phone conversation with her.The Original source Mr. Adebola Isaac who posted the video had since deleted the post.
