John Mikel Obi And Leicester Striker, Iheneacho Dropped From 23-Man List To Face Seychelles & Egypt

Nigeria captain, John Obi Mikel is surprisingly missing from the 23-man squad meant to face Seychelles and Egypt in the final phase of 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. .

Despite being in a top-notch form for new side, Middlesbrough, the skipper did not make the list. Equally, striker Kelechi Iheanaacho was dropped from the squad to participate in the games.

The 23-man list was released on Monday with Nigeria facing Seychelles and Egypt on March 22 and 26 Respectively.
