More groups ask Jonathan to run in 2011

Three different groups on Thursday in Abuja asked President Goodluck Jonathan to run for the office of president in 2011.

The groups, at different fora, said that it would be wrong for the Peoples Democratic Party to deny Jonathan the party’s ticket based on any zoning agreement between members of the party in the past.

The groups are: Hope for a Better Nigeria Initiative; National Coalition for Greater Nigerian and Jonathan Youth Vanguard.

The National Coordinator of Hope for a Better Nigeria Initiative, Mr. Hussein Kashim told reporters that for the nation to attain the much desired development and progress, “we must come to terms with the realities that stare us in the face.”

That reality, he said, was the call for Jonathan to run, saying the youths would not allow anyone who did not believe in the capacity of youths to rule the country. Read More: http://africannewslive.com/?p=4610

Detractors.........allow the man finish this one first, lets see how well he performs, then it would be left for the masses to either ask him to come back or return to his native Bayelsa state............

What do u mean? Are u saying he should run when the election is already over if he does well in his remaining one year term or are u going to creat private election later on for him?

Jonathan is the right presidential candidate as at now,so let them give him all the support he needed to run and win the coming 2011 election.
