Are black African woman really inferior?

When this question was posed to me by my white colleague student at a University in United Kingdom during a group discussion sometime back, my first instinct was that this guy was racist and for that matter I should report it to the police. I did not do anything but I left the discussion with the excuse that I was not feeling well. I had a sleepless night pondering over his comments. The next day when I met him for our group discussion, I courteously asked him why he had made such racist remarks about black women the previous day, and his answer was that, he has travelled the world over but has rarely seen black women with genuine natural beauty because most of them tend to copy the looks of the white including colour through bleaching and hair extensions.
