A female friend who I hadn't seen for a long time related her experience to me. She had a crush on a guy about 5 years ago but before she developed a friendship with him she left the country.About a 18 months ago she bumped into the guy who had also emigrated. They hit it off immediately and became a couple. Just over a year into this affair' the guy died...cause of death...AIDS related. Since then she has been doing HIV tests every 2 months. Fear and panic is written all over her face and she does not pick and choose with whom she shares her peril. She is now devastated and stressed out. Before this, I can see myself making the same decision based on trust without thinking much about what really went on during the missing years. This was an eye opener for me. Do you think this can happen to you?
