22-year old daughter of Zamfara Governor, Ruqayya Matawalle on Saturday got married to the love of her life whom she met while studying at the Cypriot University.
A lot of dignitaries including nine serving and former governors attended the wedding which took place at the place of the Emir of Maradun.
The governors include, Imo state Governor Chukwuemeka Ihedioha; Adamawa, Jibrilla Bindow, Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal; Gombe, Inuwa Yahaya and Borno, Babagana Zulum.
Ibrahim Shema, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Sule Lamido and Ahmad Sani, who are former governors were also in attendance.
President Muhammadu Buhari who was not at the occasion was represented by his Special Assistant, Political Matters, Gideon Sammani.
Members of national and states assemblies, politicians as well as emirs and chiefs from all parts of the country were also guests at the occasion.
