Silent billlionaire, oil titan and philanthropist, Hajia Bola Shagaya effectively shut down Lagos yesterday as virtually everybody who was somebody came to honour this stylish high society doyenne at her 60th birthday party held inside the prestigious Eko Convention Centre.

From the security handled by Ksquare to the event coordination by Zappahaire Events to Comperes: Tee A, Dayo Benjamin-Laniyi and Andy Gabriel, everything worked smoothly.It was a celebration of friendship

The event proper began with islamic prayers by Shiekh Farouq Onikijipa and then guests were thrilled by Bee Jay Sax before a short film was aired.
Then tributes by Mohammed Babangida and others, the consensus was that she was hardworking, kind and accommodating.

Therefter, DJ Cuppy thrilled and then Vintage Band took over, till well past 2am.
