Cooking is a Waste Of Time - Nigerian Legislator, Akin Alabi

One of the members of Nigeria's house of representatives, Hon. Akin Alabi has voiced out against cooking at home and went as far as classifying cooking as a waste of time. Akin Alabi tried to justify his reasoning by comparing cooking to driving and insists that driving yourself is also a waste of time when you could get a driver to drive you and save valuable time to engage in productivity. Although we try to reason with Akin Alabi, but unfortunately cooking must not be seen as a waste of time as it is a very intimate chore which entails what we take into our body and determines whether you live or die. Imagine eating poison?? Perhaps if he said that cooking all the time is a waste of time, it would have been more sensible, but classifying cooking as a chore as a waste of time is a waste of time in itself

I'm sorry to say this but this man never grew up in a home if not he will have known that cooking is part of home structure in Africa.
Secondly, like what someone has said; he has plenty of free money to burn hence his comment.
Thirdly the driver you are hiring, if going by what you said, he should also not cook and if all follow your advice it means even the so called eatery won't also give you food because they are also cooking.
