yes i can have a joint account wit my wife. let me tell you some thing, we guys are the major cause of our problems at times. when you keep you wife away from your account, she will not know when you are having and when you are not having. it does not matter what you think, am talking from experience. my girl went for industrial attachment and used my account as her salary account, can you imagine that? we are not yet married oh. trust, understanding and planning ahead is the principal thing. Guys, if you want to have the best in a woman, you need to change you views of its the mans world and remember that your wife, girl etc is you equal by all standard

walahi talahi i no go do am at all ,,they said love is blind but this one love they see clear welll well ... in expect of morney love never reach there at all,have ur own account,let me have mind too,we go dey still dey make love no problem no wahala  at all

hmmm, from my observations here, we have more guys running away from this, that is saying NO.......they dont want their wives to have idea of the financial state of the family..........what is wrong in your wife knowing how much you earn?........ok, you dont want her to know your pay abi?.....she wont know, just arrive at an agreement to pay in so and so amount either weekly, monthly or as is convenient for you guys, then keep the rest close to your chest.....chikena!

it's fine to have a joint account with ur spouse
but it's smart to have ur own separate account

With utmost sincerity, there's nothing pernicious having joint account with your spouse.
In the school of marriage mathematics, 1+1=1. Whatever the husband has is for the wife and vice- visa!

If the spouse are sincere to them selves there is no problem operating a joint account.
