What Christ was talking about when He said "Give to Caesar what is due to Caesar and to God what belongs to God" He was talking about Taxes and Offerings. It is time we stop misquoting the bible. Even though the devil used this girl to do what she has done, she should still be able to finish her studies. She never committed a crime and none of those students were hurt mentally nor physically.  Has for Spiritually they show that they still have a far way to go because Violence came up.  Violence in Religions should stop and it can begin right there at that school. A rally should keep to show unity between religions that are accommodated on the Campus.

There are so many different religions here in Jamaica and none has violence between them. In some families there are three different religions and they are still living in unity. What is happening in Nigeria is the FREE WILL be taken away forcefully in the name of Religion which is causing these Violence. It need to stop and it can be when Christians and Muslim even here on the forum learn to respect each other.

Christ in the statement  "give to Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar and to God what belongs to God" was literarly referring to Taxes and Offerings as you rightly mentioned but implicitly he was talking about respect to every constituted Authourity,be it govermental,traditional,religious or academic institutions,obeying and abiding by the rules and regulations.
She is also a 400 level Law student and should know the fundamental rights of other peolple on their freedom of association and religion. Going to the Mosque to preach and amist a jumat service was a tresspass and encroachment on the muslim faithfuls rights.
I think its time public preaching and outside loudspeakers by religious groups are banned in Nigeria as is been practised in more advanced countries like the one i live in.

I think this goes to show that when push comes to shove, every Nigerian child is capable of holding an AK47. Religion or no religion no human or religion or country can monopolize violence, and civil disobedience.

Back when I was in school, I was walking past some auditorioum and I heard muslim students halleluyahing in mockery of Jesus. Hmn. The boy criticizing would say a mockery of some vowels and the congregation would chorus carricatured  halleluyahs. Hmn! Wow!

If I remember correctly the guy presiding condemned Jesus for calling his mum 'Woman' and telling her to leave him alone. You know the wedding story right?

Well, I am almost agnostic. However, thank God for my society, I know some right from wrong.

The Question we should ask ourselves is, "Does the Nigerian constitution protect our religions from abuse?"

Like, is it written somewhere that if a girl walks naked into an empty mosque she should be locked up for 20 years?
Is it accepted that if a girl walks into a mosque during a prayer naked, she should be stoned to death?

This constitution that covers us has to be widened to cover and protect our religions from Abuse. Every young man is a potential rioter.

Mosques and Churches can put em Loud Hailers anywhere and pollute or rather, bless the air with prayers and songs and chants. Hmn.

The youths of this country have to take drastic measures to reduce the ambiguity in the laws of this country.


If there is a lawyer there, do tell us if the Christian girl has commited a crime according to the laws of the land.
If there is a lawyer learned in Sharia, tell us what she has done wrong and the punishment that is the consequence.

Nigerian polliticians, make una dilute Nigeria, una go the do like mugus. Dilute this country. Left for me, every Nigerian child will have a copy of the Holy Koran and the Bible. And every nigerian will be forced to learn Arabic and English. And if the parents don't agree, the Goverment should will lock them up or take such children from them.

From Zaria to Lagos to Calabar, Every Nigerian child should be taught Arabic and English in school. Question one of an Exam should be in Arabic and if thus be the case, Question two should be in English. Otherwise, do the math. I am distracted by this flimsy ambiguity that fuels the mediocrity in this country.

Were I go run go sef? Jos na wahalla, Kaduna na wahalla, Kano na wahalla, Now UI don turn to palaver.

She has gone too far to do her ministerial work. Even when told to preach Jesus, only mention of Jesus loves you to a fellow muslim brother and sister, the holy spirit will do the rest.

this is complete stupidity......maybe she is on a suicide  mission.......why would she go to a muslim gathering and preach christianity........thats why we have so much religious crisis cos there is no religion tolerance....everyone wants to shove his own believe down another persons throat....... even if am a christian and you come with your preaching to me...first of all you have to know if am interested to know what you want to say to me....but if am not interested and you want to force it then i will tell you to piss off

Spekay, yep, it has been quite a while. I guess we are saying the-same thing.

There is no awareness or little awareness.

On this site, I would see people fling insults when they see text in Arabic. Just cause they do not understand it makes it the writings of the devil.

Spekay, you do know that most illiterates who can not read and write Arabic in the north will pounce on you if they see you blow your nose with a paper with Arabic inscriptions? You do no that. You have been in the north.

We are so unaware that a story written in Arabic on paper about corruption in Nigeria can start a Holy Colored riot. Say, I write about the corruption in the government on paper, and some woman uses that to wrap Akara, she could get slaughtered.

The funny thing is, if we as a country use all the trees in Nigeria to make paper and sell copies of the Holy-Koran with the approval of Saudi Arabia of course, We will like have  1,000 copies for every Nigerian and a 500 copies for every American. Funny.

Take the scenario - i think in Bauchi - where some secondary school students set some poor woman up during their exams. They set her up with the Holy Koran.[I don't have facts]. The students killed her. They killed their teacher. A woman who is giving of herself to help them become Doctors and Lawyers and the likes. They killed her. They deprived Nigeria of one teacher. Hmn! Wow. How do you go about prosecuting such delinquents?

Read in some paper or on the internet that kids in Israel and India are taught how to speak 6-8 languages in their formative ages. Why can't the-same be applied in Nigeria?

My proposal is that every Nigerian Child be made to study the Holy Koran and the Bible by the Nigerian state. That way, there are no losses.

Mondays - Dress like the English do.
Tuesdays - Dress like the Yoruba's or people from their geographical region do.
Wednesdays - Dress like the Ibo's do or people from their geographical region do.
Thursday - Dress like the Hausa's do or people from their geographical region do.
Friday - Dress Like the Arabians do.
Saturday - Dress like your tribes men do.

Every Child should be made to study the Holy-Koran and the Bible by the state. It should be a law applicable in every part of Nigeria.

The Christians may say it is counter-productive. But the truth is for economic reasons it is kosher. That means that Nigerian Muslims and Nigerian Christians can take all em plum jobs in the middle-east. The Japanese can not do that. Only Nigerians can if the accept that the world is bigger than the west and middle east. Wow.

The Muslims may say it is counter-productive. But all they have to do is take a good look at those that are learned in western education and compare their quality of life with those learned in Arabic. And why is there more technological advancement in the west than in the east? Why does Saudi-Arabia import her drugs and electronics and other equipment from the west? Syria, Egypt, Mecca are all Known for their commerce in times past. Now they are mostly consumers. And their leaders have billions of dollars stacked in swiss banks.

Teaching every child in Nigeria Arabic and English and making sure the have an above average understanding of the Bible and the Holy-Koran is the way forward. It will make the country stronger too.

This religions are assets. The languages of this religions are assets. Why are these dumb politicians not harnessing these gifts that has been bestowed on us?

Teaching every child the principle of the Holy-Koran and the Bible and their Criticisms and Rebuttals will make Nigeria unbreakable and a haven for every human in this world of ours.

I believe there are prayers in the Holy-Koran that do not offend the average Christian.
I believe there are prayers in the Bible that do not offend the average Muslim.

Parts of the Koran preach love. Parts of the Bible preaches Violence.[for those of you that are doubting thomases. Solomon said there is a time for everything under the sun and that there is a time to kill. His father David killed. And don't you go thinking that your Adeboyes or Oyhakilomes will not quote from the old testament to configure you for battle if push comes to shove.]

Parts of the Bible preach love. Parts of the Koran preaches violence.[The prophet was a warrior and he killed people. Correct me if I am wrong. His followers during his time fought with him. Correct me if I am wrong]

So this religions that you have can be used for both good and evil. The definition of good is relative. However, an intelligent society defines their good and evil to avoid strife.

Let me stop writing. I see it. I see the possibilities of Nigeria dominating the world and not for pride but for good. Islam and Christianity are two of those gifts.  Can you see it?
