2 naija guys boarded the London-Glasgow train and decided to seat opposite two black guys. Minutes into
the trip one of the naija guys asked 'Are you Nigerians?'.
'No, we're from Ghana, Kumasi to be exact' came the reply.
'Ah, Ghana. You guys have the Black stars. You used to be good at football' said one of the naija guys.
It didn't go down well.

Ghana boyz: Black stars are still good. Infact Ghana is the true gaint of Africa.
Naija boyz: Black stars ke? Who won the first Olympic Gold for soccer in Africa? By the way have you heard
of Zik of Africa?
Ghana boyz: And have you heard of Kwame Nkrumah? Tell us, which was the first West African nation to
gain independence?
Naija boyz: We are great. We have oil.
Ghana boyz: Ha! In your dreams. Babangida and Abacha have oil. What you guys have is spelt P-O-V-E-R-T-
Y. As for us the Gold is for the people.
Things now began to heat up. Fellow passengers listened with keen interest to the unfolding drama.
Naija boyz: We have the Ooni of Ife.
Ghana boyz: We have the Golden stool conjured from heaven by Okomfo Anokye for Ossei Tutu years ago.
Public sympathy was now with the Ghanians so the Naija guys got personal.
Naija boyz: You guys are fake jo. Infact we dey smart pass una. You see, both of us are using only one
ticket for this train ride.
The whole train gasped. Just then the ticket collector came in and shouted 'tickets please!'. The naija boyz
ran into the nearby toilet. When the ticket man got to the toilet he knocked and shouted 'tickets please!' and
out came a Naija hand bearing one ticket which was duly inspected and marked. Back in their seats the
Ghana boyz hailed them and they smiled. 'You know that we invented 419 now' one of them said.
On the return journey 2 days later they meet the Ghana boyz again.
Ghana boyz: We are using one ticket.
Naija boyz: Small thing. We are using no ticket!
Just then the ticket collector was on hand to shout 'tickets please!' The Ghana boyz rushed to the toilet and
slammed the door.
Next the Naija boyz walked confidently to the toilet door, knocked loudly and shouted 'tickets please'. Then
they grabbed the ticket from the Ghana boyz hand and made off for the next toilet!
