Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka and immediate past Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani were among supporters seen at the Federal High Court, Abuja at the commencement of the trial of the Convener of the #RevolutionNow Movement, Omoyele Sowore on Wednesday.

Sowore alongside his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare are standing trial on seven counts charge of treasonable felony and cyber stalking.

Soyinka was said to have arrived the court at about 8:50am before the arrival of Sowore.

He was, ahead of a planned nationwide protest, arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) on August 3.

He was released from detention on December 5 after spending 124 days in custody and later rearrested by the secret police the next day.
