A man, Nwafor Jacob has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling about six girls in Onunwafor village, Umuoghara, Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State
He was arraigned in a Magistrate’s court sitting in Abakaliki, the state capital on Friday and remanded in prison custody.
Nwafor, who is in his 20s, allegedly defiled a 10-year-old minor, Ruth.
He was alleged to have serially engaged in the act in one week interval and also had canal knowledge of Chinasa, 13; Abigail, 7; Amaka, 7; and Deborah, 9.
Most of the victims are same siblings.
It was alleged that the accused person committed the offence between January 19 and 25 this year.
He was arraigned before the Magistrate’s Court on a one-count charge of unlawful segxwal intercourse, on Friday.
