Ex-Nigerian international footballer, Taye Taiwo has announced the death of his father.

In an Instagram post, the former left-back said his father has gone on to the great beyond.

The former Super Eagles player, who also starred for Olympique Marseilles and AC Milan in his heyday,  shared a photo of his father with the caption;

“RIP in peace my father”
