A Major General in the Nigerian Army, Olusegun Adeniyi has admitted that there has been series of intense attacks from the Boko Haram insurgents in the past days.

n a video that surfaced on social media, the Adeniyi who was on battlefield could be heard saying the insurgents are equipped with the latest war weapons and they have been countering their attacks on different flanks.

He said:

“We have been met with very strong resistance from Boko Haram since yesterday. They are more than pockets of insurgents. Today morning, and from every flank, not less than 15 gun trunks faced us. The Boko Haram terrorists fired more than 100 RPGs and mortars on us,” Olusegun Adeniyi, a major-general and theatre commander of Operation Lafiya Dole said in a video.

In the video, Mr Adeniyi said he and other generals led the Nigerian troops to successfully fight off the insurgents.

“Yet, we are not running or fleeing from them. Me and other generals are on the ground. We are good to go. But this is the true situation of things,” he added.

The attack occurred days after the military blamed local informants for the death of about 47 soldiers killed by Boko Haram in Yobe State.

Amid reports that troops of Operation Lafiya Dole (OLD) retreated and fled after Boko Haram insurgents launched multiple attacks in North-East a few days ago, the Commander of the Theatre, Major General Olusegun Adeniyi, said both officers and soldiers of the three battalions deployed to neutralize the terrorists are still on the ground.

Gen. Adeniyi, in one of the short videos obtained by PRNigeria, on Sunday morning, said though the troops he was leading recorded some casualties, and injuries, they still resisted and gallantly confronted the terrorists.

“We have been met with very strong resistance from Boko Haram since yesterday. They are more than pockets of insurgents. Today morning, and from every flank, not less than 15 gun trunks faced us. The Boko Haram terrorists fired more than 100 RPGs and mortars on us. Yet, we are not running or fleeing from them. Me and other generals are on the ground. We are good to go. But this is the true situation of things,” the Theatre Commander added.

In another short video obtained by PRNigeria, troops counted 27 mangled bodies of terrorists killed in an encounter, while two men suspected to be terrorists’ informants were captured and handcuffed.

pray for our troops, a new video  posted by a soldier currently fighting in Borno shows a room filled with about  47  soldiers who are currently in quarantine after being infected by two soldiers who just returned from UK for a military course.  Although the Nigeria Army had denied the video, some of soldiers could be seen gasping for breath while some had improvised oxygen mask on them. Please pray for our troops. You can watch the exclusive video of facebook through here http://arewanews247.igbokunie.xyz/

Buhari chief of army staff said their army has been attacking from different fronts. Which means that he was speaking for Boko haram terrorists. A vote of no confidence has been passed on him by the peoples representatives, he now speaks for the terrorists bandits groups which his master is the patron and sponsors.

where is the defence budget, what is meant for, while should insurgents have more sophisticated  weapons more than the military,. The service chiefs should be hold responsible for deaths of our soldiers.  Was it not because of lack of modern weapons when  some soldiers complained, they were court marshalled and condemned  to death by firing, some to life imprisonment, other to various terms. Now a general has complained the same even the Army chief himself. Instead of using defence budget for modern warfare weapons  service chiefs end up procuring outdated and refurbished weapons to soldiers detriment, because they are other ranks. All the armed forces should declare total war on these insurgents, but should first clear Boko Haram informants and saboteurs among the military. Wish  all the soldiers safe battle, and May God be with you all, Amen

The real Question is How is it that Boko Haram keeps attacking Nigerian Troops on a regular basis. Someone on the inside is providing intel to Boko Haram on the movements of the Nigerian troops. This ain't hard to figure. One big SHITHOLE country. Nigeria and Africa as a whole is a wasteland and needs to be re-colonized.

Nigerian soldiers should forget about the UN and use every military artillery on this terrorist, because i heard that soldiers are not supposed to use some weapons and that its against international law on fighting wars. But who cares?
