The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari has died of Coronavirus. This was contained in a Tweet by the Senior Special Adviser to the President to the President on Media and Publicity , Garba Shehu

He wrote ; The Presidency regrets to announce the passage of Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari.

The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19, and had been receiving treatment. But he died on Friday, April 17, 2020.

May God accept his soul.

Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.


Recall that Abba Kyari who tested Positive to Coronavirus after his Trip to Germany have been hospitaliszed for more than Three weeks without showing any form of recovery.

No funeral arrangements to be announce. He should be bury like other covid -19 victims.
No body should be release to any family for burial.
