Abiola Ajimobi's Daughter, Abimbola Remembers Her Dad, One Month After His Death

It’s been a tough few months to say the least; watching my dad fall sick, praying so much for his healing and keeping the faith alive.

Broken doesn’t completely encompass the way that I feel. I’ve lost my best friend forever and I am Literally living in my greatest fear. The mere thought of this happening would make me weep over the years and now here I am - Living it!

I’m learning a lot about grief sooner than I would have wanted to... I reckon am in for an emotional rollercoaster. Each day is different but I’m choosing to immerse myself in the process, in hope that I rebuild myself or find my new self (perhaps) around this huge loss I have suffered.

I promise, I won’t let the tears mar the smiles that you gave me and beautiful memories you engraved in my heart forever. In life, I loved you deeply. In transition, I love you deeper. (I still can’t use the D$&@@ word)
