The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Hausa section recently did a story on how 3 chicken thieves were left for dead by the Divisional Police Officer in Bauchi state after collecting several sums of money from the person who bought the stolen Chicken, the people who stole the chicken and then ended up torturing the chicken thieves till they gave up the ghost.
