50Yrs Old, Yusuf Bako Pardoned By Govt Arrested For Molesting A 4Yrs Old Girl In Bauchi

A 50-year-old man, Yusuf Bako of Yakubu Wanka, has been arrested by men of the Bauchi State Police Command for allegedly molesting a 4-year-old girl.

It was gathered that the suspect allegedly lured the victim , Hauwa Jamilu, to a mosque and had carnal knowledge of her.
 
It is reported that the suspect was among inmates allegedly pardoned by the state governor few months ago to deconjest prisons and curb the spread of coronavirus.
 
Confirming the incident , Spokesperson for the command, DSP Ahmed Mohammed Awkil, said in a statement on Friday, September 4, that the suspect was arrested on Thursday and has confessed to the crime.
