I smell a staged drama here ! Enemies of progressive Nigeria is hijacking the struggle of the people to a genuine long overdue reform . The thugs may be playing the script written by the police ,in order to rebrand a peaceful protest as a violent protest which in turn will empower the government to invoke certain clause in the constitution that allows or mandate the use of force to quell the people’s demand and agitation.Thugs are not trusted ,since they feed in the backyard of the police .Without the police cooperation thugs can’t operate or generate funding .Therefore,Thugs are in my opinion a unlawful arms of the police ,and in other words they even snitch for the police in exchange for their nefarious actions and illegal obtaining of money from law abiding citizen .
