Despite being mum on the abduction of 600 school children in his home state of Katsina, the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has found time to congratulate BRITISH fighter, Anthony Joshua on his recent victory against Bulgarian challenger, Kubrat Pulev.

A statement by Femi Adesina Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), in Abuja on Sunday said the president is of the view that by retaining his IBF, WBA, and WBO titles, Joshua has given boxing lovers round the world, and particularly in Nigeria, something to cheer.

In a no-show of shame, the president is speaking on issues that has no impact or concern to Nigeria as a country, but as a avid boxing lover still finds time to enjoy his hobby while the country burns to the ground.

Oh plz ! And why the criticism ,despite you underlining  the president reason for issuing such a congratulatory message to AJ on his victory over pulev.I see nothing wrong in the old man enjoying watching and cheering his countrymen for his determination and dedication to his profession .Common man ! Job can be a pain in the ass for all workers in every capacity but that doesn’t or shouldn’t take away the little time to relax and enjoy what we love to do most . The president is a human like yourself dude

In dual nationality, only one of those Nationalities matters! Donald Trump had British and American nationalities - have you ever heard anyone call him a Briton? British Prime minister, Boris Johnson had dual nationality of American and British, ever heard anyone call him an American? Joshua has British and Nigerian nationality, has he ever won anything for Nigeria? - He won all for Great Britain and he is recognised as such.
Buhari needs to talk about the 600 students that were abducted yesterday, Joshua winning or not is irrelevant to Nigeria

Donald Trump is a US citizen and was never issued a British passport for any reason. Moreover, you can't have a dual citizenship in the US and gets any political appointment talk-less the office of the presidency. Meanwhile, you have to be an ordinary citizen to enjoy the benefits of dual citizenship. .
