When it comes to tomato stew - u know d one we d use d chop rice - the only two humans I know that can cook it to my perfection(notice "my perfection") are my mum and some aunt.
Have spent time with uncles and their wifes. Their kids like their recipe. Me I think something is missing. Have been too restaurants. But, I still know that, it is my mum and some aunt that has got the recipe that I like.
If I get married to a girl who hasn't got that recipe, then I will ask her to drop by my mum or my aunt. This does not necessarily mean that she doesn't know how to cook. I am not comparing her. It such so happens that my Mum and some Aunt cook stew in a way that makes me want to overstuff my self. Plain and simple.

I am not just yarning. Cause as a child, I ate banana flavored cakes - Nigerian bananas. Home made. Mamas cooking. Yep. I feel like dancing to the jazz music coming from the speakers. Have had good times. I d remember how I d sip on the gin wey she d put inside cake. Ha ha h ahahah. I asked and she told me it was for preservation - so the cake can last longer without getting spoilt.
