Abdulrasheed Bawa, the EFCC EFCC Boss Vows To Prosecute Bola Tinubu, Orji Kalu, Others Amidst Death Threat
Abdulrasheed Bawa, the EFCC boss has vowed to bring top politicians in the country to book over corrupt practices. While speaking on Channels TV, Bawa reiterates his commitment to prosecute the likes of Former Governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and other politicians.
He also revealed that some of the cases are under study including that of the former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking further on the case of Senator Orji Kalu, he said that his case will be started all over again. He revealed that fresh charges have been filed against the Senator and he will be tried base on the charges.
Orji was convicted and jailed for fraudulent engagement and dealings. After some months in the prison, Orji was released.
According to Bawa, fresh charges have been filed against the senator, and has vowed to prosecute all the pending cases against top politicians in the country.
Mr. Bawa alleged that his life was threatened because of his commitment to prosecute fraudulent individuals. He affirmed that no matter the threat, his modus operandi will never change. He said that under his watch, Nigeria is going to be free from fraud and corrupt activities.
