“92% of Popular Naija Comedians Are Into Yahoo Fraud” – Uche Maduagwu

A Nollywood actor has claimed that many Nigerian comedians who are popular are into internet fraud. According to Uche Maduagwu, 92% of popular Nigerian comedians are into fraudulent businesses. The actor took to his Instagram page to insist on not mentioning the names of key comedians who flaunt off their assets on social media but they are into yahoo.

 
He wrote;
 
“92% of popular Naija comedians dey into yahoo yahoo. I no wan mention names ooo. But wetin I see today weak me. No be all #comedian wey show off mansion for #instagram u suppose wish congrats, most of dem be my padi thats why i no go open mouth too much but forget all dem expensive #cars no be everythin wey dey glitter na gold. #share #comedy #instavideo #bbnaija2021 #tagforlikes #lagos”.

What a sweeping statement! When did you carry out an investigation and roll call into the activities of all of the comedians? No doubt you are right about some of them, but 92% is sweeping and almost certainly untrue.
