Veteran Hollywood comedian Bill Cosby has released his first statement after his release from prison yesterday. The comedian was released after a Pennsylvania court overturned the judgment saying that the prosecutor who brought the case had been bound by his predecessor’s agreement not to charge Cosby.
Cosby’s Twitter handle has shared a vote of thanks to fans and the court for dropping his segxwal assault conviction. In his statement, the comedian noted that he never changed his stance nor my story and has always maintained innocence. He appreciated the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for upholding the rule of law.

The 83-year-old was convicted of drugging and molesting the Temple University employee at his suburban estate. In May, Cosby was denied paroled after refusing to participate in sex offender programs during his nearly three years in state prison.
