@Oyin theres no way that our so called government can stop this ppl, this thing has been happening even right from the time of Jesus christ,
and so it will remain even to the next generation to come,
The Government can stop them. The only thing that stops Nigeria from seeing anything good is "CORRUPTION".The question is "will the Government authorities/workers do their job well and good?".Too bad, their is no law.Its a lawless country.

They can't be stopped bcos the so called gov't officials are their regular clients.
U go there and see senators lodging those of the higher class.

Nigeria govt doesn't have any right to control anything about that, prostitution is been caused by lack of many things from them Govt !!
2ndly the Govt doesn't have right to disturb anyone that is adult and decide to see her body to make money, if we really practice democracy, They don't have any right to disturb this people.

They should provide Jobs and try to run things well in that country.

I can say that 60% of Nigerian girls are now into prostitution, most of which even very responsible when u see them during the day but at night, they become something else
The rate at which they hang on the road at night in cities and big towns, I think they are penty enough to form an association.
I suggest they should form an association for easy recognition to their clients. I suggest a name NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF ROADSIDE WORKERRS.
What do u suggest?

Where did you get your calculation of 60% from ? If is 60% that means 100% of the men are patronizing them. good business then  Grin

If u think so.

Not if i think so, But that 60% is a wrong figure to address the Girls doing that. it means in every family with 3 girls, there must be one into that business, is that right ??

Trust me,if they really want to stop them from hanging around on the street ,they will. But it requires hardwork, real hardwork. And I believe when you live in a certain place or country, you have to obey the law of that country/place, and if you aint ready to do that, then get ready for the worst..Now who's ready to get rid of those ladies on the street?.Is it those OLE people who only think about themselves?.

The simple way for Govt to interfere with this situation if they really want to stop it, is to create a good way of living in Nigeria, provide work, stop alot of bribing and others for one to pass thru higher education, try as much as possible to over come Corruption entirely, then i see many things will come to normal, not just prostitution.

When some of this girls are the one feeding their family from the money they get from this act, while most of the Govt personnel's are the ones patronizing them.
