Last time I went to a hospital in Nigeria was when I was 16 years old... so na my momma carry me go... Never been to one when I go to Nigeria to Visit and hopefully would not go to one when i visit next year.

I lost my brother to cancer cuz of their stupidity. For months, he keeps going back n complaining about stomach ache and they keep giving him pain killers and/ or constipation pills. Finally, my mom was like, I dont care we are not leaving until he gets better or sum1 tells us what was going on. They carried out tests n diagnosed the cancer. Less than two months later it has spreaded everywhere including spinal cord n nerves. I know, God gives n takes life but as far as I am concerned, the doctors were incompetent and cant really commend them for doing their very best.

yea there is no harm but u could have asked the lab scientist to explain the result to u.
Personally, i  were in the doctors shoes , i will not explain a test result i did not prescribe .Though i dont support his insisting u do the test in his hopital or paying before getting your prescriptions , either will i felicit him for even writting out prescriptions to u without a thorough examination .
But u know , most if not all the private hospitals especially in Nigeria is just out to make money

the altitude of our nigeria doctors is nothing to write about the private are trying a little but goverment hospital is very bad

THE QUALIFIED ONES  ARE NOT READY TO WORK AND THE ONES THAT ARE READY WERE NOT QUALIFIED.THE ETHICS OF THE PROFESSION IS NOW FOR MERE RECITATION AND NOT IN PRACTICE

MANY HAVE SUCCEEDED IN KILLING THE PAIN BY KILLING THE BEARER(THE PATIENT). ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY MORE ATTRACTIVE.

thx- it happened a while ago. I hope they tidy up n not screw up people's life anymore. I'm glad u spoke up n challenged ur doc becuz many people dont n it has dire consequencies. I hope people r more aware of this n challenge their doctors
