Divine project...........what you should also know about drugs is that they are in different levels of operation. Usually, a lower level dosage is administered on a first time complaint. If that doesnt work, you are given a more powerful dosage. That is where a doctor can say, okay stop taking the first drugs and start taking a new one.

Even though I am not a doctor, I will advice that you should still be patient with them. Moreover, if you feel you are not satisfied with the doctor's way of treatment, you can try another hospital or better still if you feel the situation needs urgent medical attention which you dont seem to be getting, lay a complain with the relevant agency for medical care because I equally agree with you that there are lots of unqualified doctors around.
All the best.

Before you buy drugs, you have to know what you need the drugs for.the doctor has to do physical examination/inspection on a patient and ask questions to know the cause, and the reason for the patient's visit to the hospital.it is only a fake/quak or untrained/not qualify man who claim to save life in his greedy way that does not observe this.some doctors are very funny.

so I know its not the same but...
My brother was in Nigeria a few months ago, he went to the dentist, had had two holes, he got them filled... A few day later it still hurt he went back, the dentist tried to fix it... it still wasn't right so he decided he will fix it when he gets back.  Let me emphasis that the dentist my brother saw is the head of the department in a university ( I know because his girlfriend is in that university) and he has his private practice. My brother finally went to the dentist last week, she said the previous dentist did a temporary filling and it has come out and the fillings he had done previously, he did that in Nigeria as well a couple of years ago,  would have to be redone and that there is a complication with one of them it was placed in the wrong place and that tooth would have to be removed. The dentist said she doubts that  previous dentist has any qualification and that he doesn't know what he is doing.  Embarrassed Embarrassed Sad   to think that this guy actually teaches and heads his department... Huh?  Sad

But like i said earlier , we should try to avoid self treatment or half self treatment. From ur write up , i think u should have seen the doctor first ,after examinations she will send u for some tests than doing ur tests first and bringing the result for him/her to explain to u .

Personally , i will not explain such test results to u

most people nowadays tend to depend on self medication which isnt the right thing; whatever is wrong with you may have reached its chronic stage.
so, i support the idea of going first to a doctor to examine you, then he/she will advise you on whatever tests you need to do.

Just today, I concluded that some doctors are responsible for some people's untimely deaths.....Or how does one explain the non-challant attitude of some doctors?.......I went to a hospital I have been using since I was a teenager, armed with a test I have done based on the symptoms I had, the doctor (a female) told me they dont recognise test(s) from outside their hospital.  Ok doc, can you just explain what the test says?.......she says NO, she wont even look at it self.........ok, order for another test in your hospital na!, she was busy writing out drugs which I must buy in their pharmacy..........Now somebody tell me, on what basis is she prescribing drugs for me?..........This is just one of them cases............

Any one with a pleasant or not so pleasant case(s)..........lets share!

Some of the doctors forget why they're doctors , They find it boring attending to patients, thats very bad, many of them are like that nowadays.
