This is a bizarre story though, cos I heard it on the news yesterday. ReplyCarlo Ancellotti the manager at Chelsea says he has no idea why Ray Wilkins was sacked and has no idea why a scout has been promoted to coach. But apparently, the new coach does NOT have coaching as part of his duties...... ![]()

What is the meaning of that Reply

Quote from: onyimau20 on 21-11-2010 07:47 PM What is the meaning of that This is the meaning of that. This is an article lifted from the Daily Telegraph, and Ancelotti has been on national TV saying the same thing Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he had no input in Michael Emenalo's promotion to assistant first-team coach, and he does not want the Nigerian to actually work with the team. Revealing some of the tensions at the club in the wake of Ray Wilkins' shock departure last week, Ancelotti made clear that both decisions were made over his head, leaving him uneasy. "I am not here to explain how I feel at the moment, because it is not the right moment," he said in the Daily Telegraph. "I'm professional, I will continue to work. I want to stay focused on my team. "The club made this decision (to promote Emenalo) after the decision on Ray Wilkins. Emenalo has not been involved in the training, and won't be, because (first-team coach) Paul Clement has been and will remain doing that. "It was not my decision, but he is working with me for a year and a half anyway." In announcing Emenalo's promotion, a Chelsea statement had said Emenalo "will continue to oversee the first team scouting operation as he makes the transition to coaching" as he needed to gain additional qualifications. But Ancelotti's comments suggest he does not want any such transition to take place. When pressed on the matter, Ancelotti reiterated: "He won't be involved in the training sessions." So this guy doesn't even have the qualifications to be allowed to do the job, the manager didn't want him, neither did the players apparently, yet somehow he has replaced one of the most highly rated coaches in English football, and he isn't even able to start work beacuse he doesnt have the qualifications....!!! Now that is bizarre....LOL
| |||||
WHAT IS THIS GUY'S DISTURBANCE ABOUT/ WHY IS HE STIFF NECKED OVER THIS MATTER? Reply
| |||||
Well because he is the manager, and someone else took the decision to sack his trusted 2nd in command and replace him with another man who doesn't even have the qualifications to be allowed to do the coaching job. ReplySo even if Ancelotti wanted Emenalo, he would not be allowed to do the coaching job by regulations because he doesn't have the required coaching qualifications.... ![]()
| |||||
BUT DIS GUY HAS BEEN THERE! HE HAS THE EXPERIENCE SOMEHOW! ReplyTHE QUALIFICATION IS NOT UNDER COMPULSION AS REGARDS FIFA REGULATIONS! HE [THE MANAGER] IS ONLY BEING BIASED!
| |||||
Could you imagine Wenger, Ferguson or Mourinho having their 2nd in command sacked without their knowledge......!!!! ReplyLOL, they would go absolutely mental.... ![]()
