MC Eve was said to have been in a car with her boyfriend on Tuesday, October 12th, when they were involved in the accident which claimed her life. She was critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital but didn’t make it, while her boyfriend who was driving the car was unhurt.
The young talent hosted Toyin Lawani’s wedding months ago and has worked with a number of Nigerian celebrities.
Colleagues, friends, and celebrities have taken to social media to mourn her demise. Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe shared a video with Eve at Toyin Lawani’s wedding and wrote, “So heartbreaking, absolutely shocking! RIP Evelyn ”. Toyin Lawani has also taken to her official Instagram page to pay tribute to Eve fondly called ‘The Energy Goddess’.
