It seems to me that EFCC is selective and biased in their operations. The man that you are talking about is the Pastor of one of the largest churches in the world. People are free to give their own legitimate substance to the church as they will. Its not only happening at Christ Embassy. Its all over the world. The Roman Catholic has their own bank in Vatican. Pastor Chris cannot be held responsible if any member or any Person strong or weak member steals or involve in fraud. Such person should be held liable for his evil behaviour. That he is a pastor does not make him a target. He is free, absolutely free to receive offering or donation from anyone. As far as such person or persons did not complain of being forced. He is not a policeman to carry out investication about individual donors. He is a Pastor and there are millions of people giving offerings weekly at his church. The issue of staging a miracle cannot be accertained. Miracle come from God and God alone. People who are attending his church are not forced to go there. They go of their own free will. If God is for Him, nothing can stop him. Rather, you will find yourself opposing God. And this will melt away like ice and he will continue what God sent him. EFCC, if you really are serious. If you really want to do proper work. If you really want to clean up Nigeria. Go and start from the top. Begin with those who have held and are holding political office, police, armed forces, custom and businessmen. There are many politicians with billions of foreign currency in foreign banks. This story is just one of those things that happens when you are very successful. @Poster, do you expect a pastor of one of the biggest population around the world to bring his own name and God name to shame? Be very careful what you post. When the Nigerian government stopped Atmosphere for Miracles what happened Christ Embassy launched a 24 hour satellite television programme.
This is just another rumour to try the Man of God but I fully know that this will also come to pass.

Has Christ Embassy the ability to own such money or not? This should be the vital question. Here in this country where i live, if you can account for what you have or the ability to have it, you don't have any problem. Unless you don't have the ability. If people steal and give it to a church, the people are held and treated according to the law not the church. If such person or persons confess that it is the pastor that sent him to steal that is completely different. Though am not living in Nigeria, as far as my knowledge can serve me, Christ Embassy is not a small church. This church has numerous branches all over the world and millions of followers. As other churches it has the right to receive offering, donation and gift. I believe their branches in Lagos alone can afford such money. They have branches all over Africa, Europe and America. Even if there is Christ Embassy bank, it is not a big deal. They wouldn't be the first to have it. There is Roman Catholic bank in Vatican. There is no problem with that. This is a young man that believe in himself in that country where many are running away. Committed himself to a course and pursued it vigorously. Today, he is not just a success but magnificent. A huge success. It shows that something good can come out of Nigeria. If you do your work and do it well. Here in this country in Europe, this young man is sometimes shown on one of their national television. He is also seen all over the world on TBN in America.
