Super Eagles Receive Osimhen Boost Ahead AFCON As He Returns To Training After Face Surgery

Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, is back in full training following surgery on his face.

The Super Eagles star was forced off during their 3-2 defeat in Serie A to Inter Milan on November 21.

Osimhen clashed heads with Milan Skriniar and had to be replaced by Andrea Petagna.

The 22-year-old underwent surgery, with Napoli announcing he would be out for at least three months.

That would have meant Osimhen would miss the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon in January.

Osimhen has missed four matches over the past 16 days, but could now come back into the squad for a crucial Europa League clash with Leicester City on Thursday.

Napoli welcomed him back, writing on Instagram: “Come on Victor!!”
