
Nigerian rapper, recording artist and record producer Naetochukwu Chikwe, professionally known as Naeto C has been celebrating his mother today as she turned 75.
The proud son and husband released some stunning photos of his mum, accompanied by a short yet heartfelt message.
In the message, the rapper said that he thanked God every day for her mother who he also celebrated her daily.
He also professed love to his mother, whom he affectionately called “beautiful babe.”
Naeto C’s parents are of the Igbo ethnic group in Owerri, Nigeria, Nigerian Ambassador to Ireland, Doctor Mrs. Kema Chikwe and Chief Herbert Chikwe. He spent his early years in that city, in a household very influenced by music.
His fondness for music grew fast and was articulated into other creative art forms, most specifically poetry, which took him to various competitions and earned him accolades as a young poet. He attended the prestigious Atlantic Hall secondary school in Epe, Lagos.
After finishing his secondary education in Nigeria at Atlantic Hall, Lagos, he moved to the United States for higher education both in SUNY Old Westbury and a year later, George Washington University.
Naeto C graduated in 2004 from George Washington University with a BSc. in Biology, intending to go study further and become a medical doctor.
After some deep self-searching, he changed his mind and decided to pursue his dream and develop his talent as a musician.
