A summary is based on all of the data you've proposed for your research. You can incorporate secondary sources in your overview if you consulted them before performing the research. The three primary elements of a research report that are not included in your overview are the results, discussions, and conclusion. A list of all the headings that will be included in the summary may be found below.

Title
Abstract
Introduction
Hypotheses and objectives
Literature review Methodology for research
References
A conventional summary includes the headings stated above. All of these headings will be briefly explained in the summary and thoroughly described in the study paper/report. The research paper will also include results, comments, and a conclusion in addition to these sections.
Title
The title of the research paper/report is also the title of the summary. It's a brief yet informative sentence that explains the planned research's goal. The overview and the actual study can have different titles, but the basic goal should stay the same. The following is an example of a summary title:

Abstract
The abstract should give a clear picture of the research in a few words. The key objectives, the conceptual framework, and the research methods should all be included. It shouldn't be too long, and it shouldn't be more than 150 words long.

Introduction
The synopsis' beginning section should inform readers about the major topic under investigation. It should also state the problem and its importance in a few words. You should explain why this study is needed and who will benefit from it to the readers. This section should be prepared with care since it explains why you're doing your research. The jury may interrogate you about the extent and relevance of your research. Write the relevance of your study honestly and accurately, but make sure you don't leave anything out that may make it significant.
The summary introduction might be anywhere from one paragraph to two pages long. You must determine the length of your synopsis based on the length of your real text. There should be at least two paragraphs: one to introduce the topic under investigation and another to provide justification for the investigation.

Hypotheses and objectives
The objectives are derived from the study's core topic. There might be one overall goal for your research and one or more particular goals for your research. Keep in mind that you can't just make a bunch of goals and just achieve one or two of them. Your research should focus on all of the goals you outlined in your overview.

The hypothesis is a potential solution to your research problem. This hypothesis is based on your personal understanding of the subject or a survey of the literature. The hypothesis must be rational, objective, and directed. It should indicate exactly how you plan to fix the problem. In a quantitative study, there should be hypotheses that can be statistically evaluated when the data is processed. There can be no hypothesis in qualitative research.

a literature review
Because the overview of the review of literature is brief, only the most relevant reviews should be provided. You'll have to write additional reviews in the study paper itself. You should incorporate work from other writers in your review of literature if it is directly related to the subject under investigation. You should also include any reviews that describe the knowledge gap that your study is attempting to fill. The literature reviews should be compiled from trustworthy and credible sources.

Methodology of investigation
All details concerning the study's subjects, data collecting, data collection tools, data analysis procedures, study design, and any other measures done should be included in the research methodology. The readers will be informed about your approach to solving the topic under investigation via your methods. It should be the greatest alternative for obtaining objective, repeatable, and generalizable outcomes.

The subjects might be human or non-human, so define their qualities and offer justification for choosing a certain demographic. If you're utilizing a population sample, define the sample and sample size. Provide information about the data collecting technique(s) and instrument(s). If this is an experiment, include information on the equipment; if this is a survey, include information about the questionnaire type or interview schedule. You should also discuss the data analysis strategies you used, as well as how you achieved sampling precision. The recommended statistical tests that you must use to obtain the findings are described in data analysis procedures.

References
At the end of the overview, include an exact list of references so that readers may learn where the material came from. You should follow the same reference style that you did in your research work. It might be MLA, APA, Harvard, Chicago, or any other citation style. You should check with your supervisor or teacher ahead of time to see what citation style you need to use. Remember that accuracy is crucial when drafting references in both the overview and the research report. When using one form of citation, be sure to maintain it constant throughout the in-text citation and the end references.
