Former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has praised the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye as he celebrated his 80th birthday today.
 
Jonathan took to his Facebook to share his thoughts on Wednesday.
 
He described the renowned clergy as a gift to Nigeria and a blessing to the entire world.
 
According to Jonathan, Adeboye’s humility and dedication to the gospel has earned him a place in history, stressing that his charity and other gestures have distinguished him as a man of strong devotion.
 
The statement reads, “On behalf of my family, I warmly congratulate you on your 80th birthday. You are a gift to our nation and a tremendous blessing to the global Christian Community.

“Daddy G.O, as a leader of faith, you have been a worthy example of a believer; in faith, in doctrine and in charity. You have also distinguished yourself as a man of strong devotion who is steadfast in the task of reconciling men to Christ and offering hope to many.

“Your humility, dedication, commitment and passion to give back to society is evident with the works of various arms of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and this has earned you a place in the annals of history.

“As you celebrate this impressive milestone, it is my prayer that the Almighty God will continue to bless you with good health and grant you your heart desires.

“I join your family, friends and well-wishers to wish you more fruitful and energetic years ahead. Happy 80th Birthday, Daddy G.O”.
