Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo took to Instagram to share an adorable video of his daughter, Hallel.

In the video, the father of three was suprised about his daughter developing an accent just two weeks after she began schooling abroad.

He shared an interesting video of Hallel speaking to him in her flawless British accent.

It’s not fakery, she’s a very very smart young girl and the parents are doing a great job. This is the kind of lady in 10 years from now she will speak exactly like the British and people will be wondering how? Because she’s practicing now and most of you are just jealous. When you go to Rome you act like the Romans, if it’s a white person speaking Igbo or Yoruba or Hausa now we will all applaud the white person and the video will garner hundred of thousands of likes, so if that’s the trend, what’s wrong in young Africans learning the Western culture? What’s wrong with our young people learning to speak like them? If you cannot speak like them in America they will tell you that people will not understand you when you talk to them on the phone and that’s true, for employment and leadership purposes please let our young people start learning how to speak like the people in their host countries respectively. Stop the castigating.
